One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behavior that was going on.
So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time.
When he returned, he told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not."
God thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion."
So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time.
When the angel returned he went to God and said, "Yes, it's true. The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good."
God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because he wanted to encourage them, and give them a little something to help them keep going.
Do you know what the e-mail said?
Okay, I was just wondering, I didn't get one either

April Fool's 1985
I finally signed up for a gym membership last night. I hadn't been part of a gym in over 22 years. I spent my young adult years staying in shape and even teaching an aerobics class for 8 years. In fact in one of those aerobics classes is where I met my sweetheart.
Today is the anniversary of our engagement. You may be thinking to yourself... you got engaged on April Fools Day? Yes, and it was very sweet and private. It wasn't expected, yes we had looked at rings a couple of weekends before but when I asked to look at the one carat diamond my dh, then bf, eye's bugged out of their sockets. After the sticker shock I figured it would take about 5 months for him to be convinced to even purchase "the ring." I got a call at work asking me to come watch him play softball with his group at work. I agreed, anytime spent with him was great. I didn't have to teach a class on that day. The problem was that I worked on the other side of town and would spend an hour and a half to two hours in traffic. I did and by the time I got to the field no one, except my bf, was there. He had news to tell me, he was going out of town the very next day and wanted to see me before he had to pack. I was used to his out-of-town trips on the spur of the moment so I just thought it was just a chance to see him before he left.
...then he pulled it out, a small ring box and a yellow rose. I couldn't believe it and then I put it on and was so overwhelmed. I didn't think about the date until he told me that the ladies at the jewelry store told him it better not be an April Fool's joke or they would kill him.
Happy Anniversary my love
